Wise Leadership

Writer: Megan L. AndersonMegan L. Anderson

Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.

Sovereign Lord God, true peace and prosperity – the kind that transcends worldly circumstance – comes from receiving and faithfully living by your divine wisdom. Holy Spirit, I ask that you fill me with this wisdom and the courage to follow it. Make my life flourish so that those around me may also benefit. And from the highest office in the land down to the leadership of small communities, please also fill those in positions of influence with your wisdom. Make them hunger for it. Empower them to act on it in the face of opposition and bring glory to yourself through them. Amen.

1 Kings 4:20 & 25

The people of Judah and Israel were as numerous as the sand on the seashore; they ate, they drank and they were happy.

During Solomon’s lifetime Judah and Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, lived in safety, each man under his own vine and fig tree.
