You have given us a living hope, a hope infusing our days with divine joy, assurance, comfort, and energy. No matter what we face during our mortal years, your heavenly gifts remain incorruptible. Thank you, Good Shepherd, for sacrificing the unthinkable so that we don’t have to devote our lives to thinking about an eternity of separation from you. Amen.
