Take a moment to refresh, refocus, and refine your faith.
Loving and Uncompromising God, deliver me from philosophizing myself out of doing the physical work of pursuing righteousness. What good is studying and understanding your word if I do not put it into practical use? Please meet my efforts to live in holiness with an extra special sense of your love. Break up the hardened sin in my heart and replace it with desire for you that inspires obedience. Thank you for the promise of your perfecting me in eternity with you one day. Help me live accordingly in gratitude. Amen.

Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
